LaCantina Doors, a Vista-based designer and manufacturer of folding door systems, recently said it received a DP70 hurricane impact rating from Miami Dade County on its aluminum line of folding doors. The rating will aid in the sale of its doors in areas that are routinely battered by hurricanes, including Texas, Louisiana and Florida.
The company’s thermally-controlled doors blur the distinction between indoor and outdoor spaces, and the traditional architectural line for homes and offices, the business said.
LaCantina, founded in 1993, has 45 employees at its headquarters office.
