Stos Partners based in Encinitas has purchased industrial property in Temecula for $7.1 million.
The company bought an industrial building at 2841 Vincent Moraga Drive from Calavo Growers, a food products company that distributes avocados.
The 64,678 square-foot building has an open warehouse, refrigerated cooler space, a large yard, dock loading, heavy power and 125 parking spaces.
Calavo has used the building as an avocado packing plant and will continue leasing 30,000 square feet.
Rob Gunness of CBRE’s San Diego office and Kevin Kelly of CBRE’s Dallas office represented Calavo Growers. Stos Partners represented itself.
“Calavo Growers has enjoyed a long history as a staple of the agriculture industry in California and we are very pleased that this history will continue,” Kelly said. “This deal crates a best of both worlds scenario as the buyer will be completing a renovation that will create an even better environment for Calavo to operate in while also improving the value of the asset.”
