KCM Group based in Pacific Beach has been chosen as construction manager for a $30 million affordable housing complex to be built by Wakeland Housing and Development Corp. based in downtown San Diego.
Trinity Place at Glacier Avenue between Mission Gorge Road and Riverdale Street in Grantville will have 74 studio apartments for chronically ill seniors who have been homeless.
The four-story building will be 44,000 square feet.
“KCM Group takes a professional, proactive approach to manage the complexities of the construction process, and helps us keep costs within budget and construction timelines on schedule,” said Elizabeth Bluhm, director of development at Wakeland Housing. “These are valuable services in any project, but in an affordable housing development, budgets are always tight and schedules are subject to time constraints, so achieving these goals is essential.”
