A La Jolla retail and office building has been sold for $6.5 million.
The International Shops of La Jolla, 1237 Prospect St., was sold by 1237 Prospect, LP to ElreyK9 Plaza, LLC.
Todd Law of Capital Growth Properties, Inc. represented the seller.
Greg Wagner of the same firm represented the buyer.
Built in 1962, the 7,196 square-foot International Shops has 24 units ranging from 183 square feet to 690 square feet.
Blue Apparel is the anchor tenant.
Other tenants include Deli-icious La Jolla, H. Moradi Fine Jewelers and La Dolce Vita Ristorante.
“This multi-tenant retail/office building is surrounded by world class beaches, shopping and dining in one of the nation’s most affluent communities,” Law said. “Besides being one of the best locations in the entire world, it’s one of the most charming settings of any commercial property here in San Diego with an open common area floorplan which was designed to accommodate multiple businesses, retail spaces or offices.”
