A $20.5 million refinancing loan has been secured for a Point Loma apartment and retail project by HFF, a company based in Texas with offices in San Diego.
HFF worked on behalf of Murfey Co. of San Diego and Bishop Ventures of San Diego in securing the 10-year, fixed rate loan to refinance construction of The Californian.
At 3233 Kemper St., The Californian was completed in 2018.
The three story project has 81 apartments totaling 68,141 square feet with 3,137 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and 108 parking spaces.
The apartments range from 654 square feet to 1,511 square feet, according to CoStar, a real estate listing service.
Leading HFF in arranging the loan were Managing Director Bryan Clark, Senior Managing Director Aldon Cole, and Associate Bharat Madan.
