A Chula Vista apartment complex has been sold for $14.2 million.
Built in 1981, the 50,120 square-foot Vista Pacific Apartments, 1035 4th Ave., was acquired by Montgomery Partners based in San Francisco.
The seller was an undisclosed private investor based in Japan.
Representing both parties from Marcus & Millichap were Christopher J. Zorbas, senior managing director investments in the San Diego office, and Alexander Garcia, Jr., senior managing director investments in the Ontario office.

The complex has 55 two-bedroom apartments that average 911 square feet.
Montgomery Partners plans to make extensive renovations to the interior and enhance the exterior.
