Coldwell Banker Commercial Southern California has hired Rhyne Brown to serve as executive managing director for the company’s San Diego regional operations.
A company statement said Brown will oversee “an aggressive recruiting plan” for the local market. Brown is a 45-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry,with prior executive experience at companies including NAI Global, Rhinehart & Cancro LLC, Lease Audit & Analysis Services and ORS Associates.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Maryland in urban planning and did post-graduate work at Maryland, Georgetown University Law School and the M.I.T. Center for Real Estate Development. He is a member of NAIOP (formerly the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties), and served as a military police officer in the U.S. Army.
Coldwell Banker Commercial is among several real estate services firms owned by New Jersey-based Realogy Holding Corp. Coldwell Banker’s Southern California group has four commercial real estate offices, including its San Diego operations at University Towne Center.
