Carlsbad Retail Center Owner Obtains $43 Million in Refinancing

Connecticut-based owner Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers LLC has obtained $43 million in refinancing for its Bressi Ranch Village Center in Carlsbad, according to CBRE Group Inc., which arranged the loan.

The long-term, fixed-rate refinancing loan for the grocery-anchored retail center was arranged by CBRE’s Michael Riccio in Hartford and Mark McGovern in San Diego, through an unnamed lending source.

The 116,403-square-foot property was completed in 2010 at the southwest corner of Gateway Road and El Fuerte Street, south of Palomar Airport Road. It is currently 97 percent leased to 30 tenants, including Stater Bros. and Trader Joe’s.
