Two local women-owned agencies have teamed up to help shed lighter on the growing medical technology space.
San Diego-based national public relations and marketing agency Crowe PR has begun a strategic partnership with business-to-business and business-to-consumer branding and digital marketing agency ParkerWhite of Cardiff.
The combo will offer MedTech clients what both agencies are calling “a synergistic approach to branding and market awareness.”
MedTech and HealthTech are category descriptions for product manufacturers developing innovative products within diagnostics such as DNA testing and monitoring, wearables and connected devices, robotics, AI technologies and minimally invasive technologies that seek to improve the quality of patient care while reducing the overall cost and access to care.

Crowe PR and ParkerWhite’s partnership will benefit a variety of health and wellness-focused companies, including medical device brands, genomics, life sciences and other purpose-driven brands looking to scale and amplify their awareness, gain a competitive edge and grow revenue, said Cindy White, CEO and creative director of ParkerWhite.
“This partnership will allow us to have an even stronger team that can seamlessly work together on all aspects of our clients’ marketing and communication needs,” White said. “Aside from a strength in our collaborative service offerings, there is genuine synergy in being able to market to women and women’s health.”
Crowe PR and ParkerWhite offer complementary expertise in MedTech, both working with global public corporations and start-ups to generate awareness, build and strengthen their brands and grow market share.
ParkerWhite is known for top work in rebrands and product launches – both important marketing tactics in an evolution of a business, said Anna Crowe, founder and CEO of Crowe PR.
Known for its return on investment-focused approach to marketing and public relations, the nearly nine-year-old Crowe PR agency provides media relations, thought leadership, social amplification, crisis communications, influencer marketing and content creation.

“As partners, we now have data, customer insights and brand developments early on so we can start building a communications strategy in advance and be well equipped for a launch or relaunch in this case,” Crowe said. “Collectively, we can offer these clients a more streamlined and integrated approach to meet their business goals.”
ParkerWhite, which has been around more than a quarter of a century, has focused on working with brands that are disrupting their categories and creating a positive change in people’s lives. It offers brand strategy, creative services, website design and development, digital marketing, social media and video/television production services.
As a branding and digital marketing agency, ParkerWhite is often asked for PR services, White said. In the past her company has turned away that portion of the business.
But now that it has a partner that shares its same values and passion for MedTech who it can connect clients with, “We feel confident that our collaboration will better serve and support our clients’ communication efforts,” she said.
Crowe said that she and White have known each other for many years in the business community as creative agency peers.
She said that last year “we connected and found that we share similar business values and that our agencies’ services are complementary. We decided to partner strategically to offer our clients a synergistic approach to their PR, marketing and branding needs.”
Crowe PR gravitates to clients and creative partners that are committed to innovation and changing lives, Crowe said.
“This is especially true in the MedTech space which is one of our three core focus areas as an agency,” Crowe said. “Cindy and the entire team at ParkerWhite share our passion for excellence, creativity and innovation. We are inspired by their impressive portfolio of work and look forward to offering full-service to MedTech clients seeking a synergistic approach to branding and market awareness.”
Crowe said that the healthcare industry, including MedTech, continues to grow rapidly. Much of that, she said, is because of the external environment, technology advances and changes in customer preferences.
She said that people are engaging with medical device and diagnostics companies in new ways, and that now is the time to evaluate and update marketing strategies and tactics.
“As two creative agencies that pride ourselves in thinking big, being nimble and strategic, we felt that now was the time to partner and offer an integrated approach to the healthcare industry,” Crowe said. “Our strategic partnership offers companies the opportunity to have trusted partners that work synergistically with each other on big, radical ideas that drive brand engagement and awareness.”
