Reo Carr has been named executive editor of the San Diego Business Journal. Carr, who has been in senior management at the journal for the last six years, will begin his new duties as soon as a new editor is hired.
As executive editor, Carr will write a weekly column covering San Diego’s diverse technology communities and emerging business opportunities.
He will continue his various roles at Business Journal events, and he will be leading and moderating many of the panel meetings hosted by the Business Journal.
“Reo is one of the most respected journalists in San Diego. It is an honor to work with him,” said President and Publisher Randy C. Frisch. “His new position will keep him involved in the Business Journal while allowing him time to pursue his long standing entrepreneurial business objectives.”
“This is an exciting change for me, one that will allow me to focus my efforts in a new direction,” Carr said.
The award winning San Diego Business Journal has begun a national search for an editor, Frisch said.
