StarPoint Advantage, a San Diego-based information technology services firm, said recently that it has acquired the assets and clients of a San Diego IT services firm, Balti Group Consulting, for undisclosed terms.
StarPoint Advantage delivers server and network as well as computer services to a variety of business clients, including San Diego’s legal industry. David J. Davis spun the business off from a larger company in 2008.
The buyer said that the acquisition will broaden its market share and add new capabilities that complement existing services. StarPoint bills itself as a full-service information technology firm for small and medium-sized businesses.
Yoram Baltinester, the founder and owner of Balti Group Consulting, will serve in an advisory capacity until the acquisition is complete. Balti Group has served San Diego businesses for the past decade.
