Mat Gates has been appointed president of Erickson-Hall Construction Co. based in Escondido.
With a 30-year career in construction, Gates joined Erickson-Hall in 2004 as a project manager.
Gates is a 1992 after graduate of San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
As company president, Gates is leading Erickson-Hall implements an employee stock ownership plan – a retirement plan that provides an ownership interest for employees.
Shares of company stock held by the stock ownership plan are allocated to employees over time.
