Palomar Health Medical Group has been recognized as a ‘Most Improved’ provider organization by IHA (Integrated Healthcare Association). The recognition is based on Palomar’s performance in the AMP Medicare Advantage program for measurement year 2020 by IHA.
IHA’s AMP Medicare Advantage program uses standard measurement to promote healthcare quality in Medicare Advantage, providing aggregated performance data that allows participants to understand how they’re performing compared to the market and their peers.
The ‘Most Improved’ distinction recognizes provider organizations that have successfully improved quality of care for Medicare Advantage populations. To earn this recognition, provider organizations must improve their overall star rating by at least half a star compared to the previous measurement year.
