Cause San Diego to Host Evening Social to Celebrate the Impact Sector

San Diego is home to hundreds of businesses, charitable organizations and
government agencies that play a vital role in making the region a stable and healthy place to live, work and play. But despite all the efforts to improve social issues threatening the region, more needs to be done. That’s where Cause San Diego steps in.

Born out of the 25-year-old Cause Conference, Cause San Diego is a new social impact accelerator. In 2022 Cause San Diego hosted two collaborative events that brought together over 500 for-profit and nonprofit organizations, educators and government leaders to learn new insights and establish new partnerships to better tackle our region’s biggest issues.

As a continuation of their efforts, Cause San Diego is scheduled to host its first annual “Winter Social 4 Impact,” on March 7 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Capdevilla Gillespie Center for Junior Achievement, located at 4756 Mission Gorge Place in San Diego. Tickets are $39 and available for purchase here.

Net proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Cause San Diego Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to college students who use their business and marketing skills to help nonprofits thrive.

Winter Social 4 Impact will be set in the simulated McGrath Family “BizTown” at Junior Achievement’s facility, where students learn how to operate a city. Attendees will enjoy appetizers, drinks, networking and giving back.
