Neil Murphy, a fixture in the San Diego construction community for more than 20 years, has been named president of OCMI, Inc.
Based in Irvine, OCMI has a San Diego office in Five Points.
Murphy, who recently completed construction oversight of San Diego State University’s Snapdragon Stadium in Mission Valley, is a graduate of Illinois Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
Murphy replaces Justin Peterson, who was OCMI president for the past year. Peterson will become CFO.
Peterson called Murphy “a natural born leader.”
“He never hesitates to put himself out front, whether it is advancing an internal initiative or helping clients achieve objectives,” Peterson said.
