The annual event supports the association’s mission to discover more treatments and a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis — commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease — and to serve, advocate for and empower all families that are affected by ALS.
The evening will include poolside cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, mariachi music and a silent auction, followed by a gourmet dinner, a program with speakers and a paddle raise. VIP packages are available.
Many notable athletes and sports personalities will be in attendance, including one of the most successful sports coaches, Steve Fisher, former head basketball coach at San Diego State University, and Brian Dutcher, current SDSU head basketball coach. Ted Leitner, longtime sports broadcaster, will serve as the emcee for the evening. Emmy Award Winning Broadcast Journalist Jane Mitchell will serve as special Fiesta correspondent.
Valley View Casino & Hotel is at 16300 Nyemii Pass in Valley Center, northeast of Escondido.
