North San Diego Business Chamber Welcomes New Board Members

Starting in July, the North San Diego Business Chamber (NSDBC) Board of Directors will include seven new members.

The new members were elected at the NSDBC’s May 19 meeting for terms beginning July 1. In addition to the new members, the chamber elected Joe Leventhal, office managing partner for Dinsmore and Shohl LLP, to the position of chair elect. Stacey Hrountas, CEO of Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Centers, will continue her second term as board chair.

The new members to the NSDBC board are Lee Wills, chief diversity officer at ASML; Scott Norum, senior director of research and site leader at HP, Inc.; Kristin Gaspar, president and CEO of Palomar Health Foundation; Rob Latta, partner at Jones Day; Joe Britton, regional public affairs manager for SDG&E; Susan Miller, senior director of technical oversight and reporting at Oracle; and Sanjiv Prabhakaran, president of Bytes Inc.

The new members to the 2022-2023 term join existing board members Neal Manowitz, president and COO of Sony Electronics, Inc.; Denise Visconti, shareholder at Littler Mendelson; Nick Torres, partner at Hochman Torres LLP, CPA; Jamie Lemon, general manager of Rancho Bernardo Inn; Lisa Peterson, director of the San Diego Zoo Safari Park; Eric Cutler, chief data officer at TOOTRiS; Sarah Hassaine, director of diversity at ResMed; Jean Loo-Russo, chief philanthropy officer at The Elizabeth Hospice; Fred Nasseri, owner of Unicorn Jewelry & Watch Boutique; Stacy Rungaitis, executive director of Palomar College Foundation; David Shields, president of Component Surfaces, Inc.; Jana Vargas, director of procurement at San Diego Regional Airport Authority; and Evan Wahl, director of project management and site strategy at Catalent Pharma Solutions.

The NSDBC board is a diverse group made up of small, medium and large businesses and represents many industries and companies located throughout the region.
