Tower 16 Capital Partners based in Encinitas has acquired the commercial portion of a Leucadia mixed-use project – Surfside Luxury Lofts - that combines office/retail space with residential townhomes.
The company paid $7.9 million for 8,000 square feet of the two-story office portion of the project at 1532-1536 North Coast Highway 101.
The seller was Encinitas Properties, LLC.
Surfside Lofts also has seven for-sale townhomes that were not part of this transaction.
Tower 16 plans to occupy 4,000 square feet of the office space on the second floor and offer the remaining 4,000 square feet on the ground floor for lease.
Peter Curry with Cushman & Wakefield’s Private Capital Group in San Diego represented both parties in the sale of the office/retail condo.
Cushman & Wakefield was also hired by the buyer for leasing services
