San Diego Business Journal Cordial has named its first ever chief revenue officer, Rachel Bergman, who will be responsible for the sales and client experience functions of the company. Cordial made the announcement in mid-May.

Based in San Diego, Cordial offers a cross channel messaging and data platform for brands — particularly those that it terms “customer-obsessed.” In short, Cordial helps clients make the most money from every email or mobile marketing message they send. Its client list includes 1-800 CONTACTS, Backcountry, Eddie Bauer, Revolve and Tillys.
Prior to joining Cordial, Bergman held executive management roles at Harland Clarke and Persado, and before that, served as general manager of Experian CheetahMail. She held full profit and loss responsibility, led a global team of more than 650 employees, and played an instrumental role in driving revenue growth from $10 million to more than $200 million. Bergman also served on the CheetahMail executive team during the sale of the company to Experian in 2004.
Bergman is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University.
