Noble House Hotels & Resorts has appointed Douglas Rucker as general manager of San Diego Mission Bay Resort. According to a press release, Rucker will oversee all operations, financial performance and guest satisfaction at the resort.



Most recently, Rucker headed his own firm, Human Hospitality Advisors Group LLC, where he served as hospitality managing director. Prior, Rucker worked as general manager at The Modern Honolulu and Aston Hotels & Resorts in Maui, both in Hawaii, and the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo and Hawks Cay Resort in Duck Key, Florida.

San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a full-service, Mediterranean-style hotel destination with 357 rooms, waterfront dining, poolside lounge, fitness center and full-service spa. It also offers 4,000 square feet of outdoor pool area, five tennis courts and a gift shop as well as over 16,000 square feet of interior meeting space and 9,600 square feet of outdoor meeting space.
