On Dec. 3, Jollibee, the Filipino fast-food chain, opened a new store in San Diego. The Mira Mesa store is the company’s 21st store in California and is located near the Mira Mesa Mall.
In the face of COVID-19, the location offers pick-up, take-out and drive-thru. Delivery via DoorDash will also be an option. The dining room will remain closed until further notice.
"We have remained nimble and optimistic which has led Jollibee to defy expectations amidst an extremely difficult year and experience double-digit sales growth across North America," said Maribeth Dela Cruz, President of Jollibee Group North America, Philippine Brands.
Jollibee is the largest fast food chain brand in the Philippines, according to the company, operating a network of more than 1,400 stores. This year, it embarked on an aggressive international expansion plan. In North America, Jollibee operates 58 stores.
