The North San Diego County Association of Realtors recently announced that a free webinar will be open to all homeowners, business owners, property owners and real estate agents regarding the negative impact of Proposition 15, also called the split roll tax initiative.

The North County association, also known as NSDCAR, says the measure will have a negative effect on the housing market, economy and communities in San Diego County.

The online event will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Aug. 25.

The association has invited Jon Coupal, president of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, to lead the discussion about Split Roll and how the initiative coming this November will alter Proposition 13 protections and could have harmful effects on the future of California. Topics include how Proposition 15 could make the housing crisis worse, lead to higher grocery costs, hurt small and family owned businesses, increase energy bills and more.
