San Diego Business Journal

The following is a letter sent by the North San Diego Business Chamber to its constituents on April 7:

In our continued effort to advocate for much-needed property tax relief for those impacted by COVID-19, we are asking that everyone send an email letter directly to County Treasurer-Tax Collector Dan McAllister by 8 a.m. Wednesday.

We are working alongside County Supervisors Jim Desmond and Kristin Gaspar to propose a common-sense escape property tax payment plan that would offer relief to those that have been impacted financially by COVID-19.

We respectfully ask that you send an email directly to Dan McAllister by asking him to offer property tax relief to those in need by 8 a.m.

Herewith you will find a letter from our County Supervisors Jim Desmond and Kristin Gaspar and a copy of the relief plan the California Restaurant Association is proposing.

Thank you in advance for working with us to advocate for those that need our support during this challenging time. Please send your letters to Dan McAllister by 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Stay healthy and thank you for your continued support of the Chamber and your community.
