A Carlsbad commercial building – the Quonset Project – has been sold for $3.9 million.
The project at 2725-2727 State St. was sold by Quonset Development to an undisclosed private investor.
Formerly an auto repair shop, the 8,347 square-foot property designed by Brett Farrow Architect was renovated to feature a design studio, cocktail bar, restaurant, café and wine tasting room.
Tenants include Campfire Restaurant and Carruth Cellars.
Perry Curry, managing director of Cushman & Wakefield, represented both parties.
Redeveloped in 2016, Curry said that the project “created a wave of development momentum along State Street that is now spreading throughout Carlsbad Village.”
Curry said that the buyer plans to hold onto the property as a long-term investment.
