Chairman and CEO, Dexcom
SDBJ 500 recap: Kevin Sayer has been president and CEO of Dexcom since 2011 and in 2018 was also named chairman. He has grown the company. He has been instrumental in leading the development of new technology, including the Dexcom G6 continuing glucose monitoring device that got FDA approval in 2018. Before he joined Dexcom, he served as CFO of Biosensors International, a medical technology company, focused on the devices used in interventional cardiology and critical care procedures. He was the CFO for MiniMed Inc. from 1994 until its acquisition by Medtronic Inc. in 2001.
