A recently constructed Mission Gorge apartment complex has been sold for $149 million.

The 441,000 square-foot Hanover Mission Gorge, 4440 Twain Ave., was sold by Hanover Co. based in Houston to Mission Gorge Investors LP controlled by R&V Management of San Diego.

Built in 2018, the building has 374 apartments ranging from 571 square feet to 1,479 square feet.

The apartments have granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, walk-in closets, private terrace and wood-style flooring.

There is also a pool, cabanas, open-air loggias with televisions and fireplaces, a fitness center, a clubhouse with a kitchen and a billiards table, and Nest learning thermostats.

Hanover Co. was represented by Ed Rosen and John Chu, managing directors of Berkadia, and Tyler Sinks, a director of Berkadia.

Berkadia also represented the buyer.

“The asset has the highest quality design and craftsmanship,” Rosen said. “The property is a crown jewel born of one of the most premier, well-regarded and highly respected developers, The Hanover Co.”
