Sara Katz founded her public affairs firm in 1986 and has grown it to more than 40 employees and offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco. She has worked on major public works projects costing over $1 billion, including the City of San Diego’s Clean Water Program and the San Diego County Water Authority’s Emergency Storage Program. She is the past chair of the American Water Works Association’s Public Involvement Committee and was honored in 2013 with the Public Relations Society of America’s Otto Bos Lifetime Achievement Award. She is on the board of the San Diego Taxpayers Association.
