A Kearny Mesa office building has been sold for $5.8 million.
The two-story Chesapeake Office Building, 9320 Chesapeake Drive, was sold by Fenway Properties of San Diego to an undisclosed buyer.
Fenway Properties acquired the property in May 2014 from Chesapeake Management for $2.3 million, according to CoStar, a real estate listing service.
Built in 1979, the 23,095 square-foot building was renovated in 2015 with a new roof among the improvements.
The building was leased to several engineering firms, including Esgil Corp., Pacrim Engineering and Lombard Consulting services.
Ben Tashakorian and Trent Carvolth, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s San Diego office, represented Fenway Properties.
Sean McNulty of Lee and Associates represented the buyer.
