Mission Federal Credit Union “elves” were able to strike again at the Annual Christmas Tree Donation at the San Diego Center for Children. More than 27 trees were donated across the San Diego Center for the Children’s eight program sites in order to bring much needed holiday cheer to the children and families they serve. The center provides therapeutic care, special education, foster care and other services to children and families struggling with mental, emotional and behavioral disorders, empowering the lives of more than 1,000 people every day. Many of the children and teens in therapeutic residential care remain at the center’s main campus during the holidays.

The Mission Fed elves personally delivered fresh Christmas trees and decorated them based on themes selected by the center’s youth: themes ranging from “Charlie Brown” to “superhero” to Disney’s Coco to The Grinch. Mission Fed’s staff from branches and departments joined the center’s staff and children in decorating the holiday trees with lights, stands and ornaments.
