Murphy Development Company has completed construction of the final building in the Siempre Viva Business Park in Otay Mesa and leased part of it.
Mainfreight San Diego Transport & Air and Ocean have taken about 33,000 square feet of the 79,050 square-foot Building 17 at 8500 Kearns St.
Details on the lease were not disclosed.
Building 17 features a 28-foot clear height, ESFR (Early Suppression Fast Response) sprinklers, concrete truck courts, wide column spacing and high dock door ratios.
Working with Murphy Development on the project were architect Gene Cipparone, K&S Engineering, Teshima Landscape Design and Lusardi Construction.
Buildings in the Siempre Viva Business Park include 2.1 million square feet of space on 155 acres near the Otay Mesa Port of Entry.
