Cameron Lamming, former chief development officer of RAR Hospitality, has been promoted to chief operating officer and president of the San Diego-based company. The hotel management group oversees 18 hotels, including the Four Points by Sheraton San Diego and Fairfield Inn & Suites in Oceanside.
“Our robust operating performance and strategic growth relies on our employees and to see members of the RAR team continue to push forward in their careers inspires our expansion as a company and team,” Robert Rauch, chief executive officer and founder of RAR Hospitality, said in a statement.
Previously, Lamming worked at Brixton Capital, an investment company, where he handled acquisitions. Before that, he worked at The Walt Disney Co. in the global business development division. Lamming graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University.
