The Greater San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR) went online in September with its San Diego MLS multiple listing service used by real estate agents throughout San Diego County.
“We are now the single and sole owner of San Diego MLS,” said CEO Michael Mercurio. “It’s not a new MLS. It has a new name.”
Earlier this year, SDAR was embroiled in a legal fight with North San Diego County Association of Realtors and Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors.
The three were members of Sandicor MLS, which was dissolved as part of a settlement agreement.
SDAR has about 14,000 members, Mercurio said.
“We have a lot of things that are going to be unveiled this fall and going into next year that will enable our members to have a more customized experience,” Mercurio said. “It’s going to be a constant reaching out, asking their participation in terms of what they need, what their clients want.”
Among other things, the revised listing service will include a new customized dashboard that will allow brokers to track their agents’ activity and results.
