After announcing his resignation, Mitek Systems Inc.’s Chief Financial Officer Jeffrey Davison has opted to stay with the company.
Mitek Systems (Nasdaq: MITK) is a San Diego tech company that makes security identification and mobile check deposit software for banks. The company is among the area’s top SaaS companies, reporting $63.6 million in its 2018 fiscal year.
Both Davison and Mitek’s former CEO, James DeBello, announced their resignations in August. DeBello departed after the company named its new CEO, Max Carnecchia, on Nov. 6. Davison’s last day was scheduled for the end of November; he had planned to join a firm in Montana, closer to his home.
On Nov. 26, Mitek’s board accepted Davison’s decision to rescind his resignation, according to a press release. Davison will continue to serve as the company’s CFO under his previous offer.
