Cali Bamboo, the San Diego-based the direct-to-consumer flooring and decking company, has promoted Doug Jackson from his role as president to CEO.
The move will allow Jackson to better amplify his strategic vision and propel the omnichannel company toward further growth, according to a news release.
Company co-founders Jeff Goldberg and Tanner Haigwood continue to serve on the board of directors as stewards of the company.
As CEO, Jackson will continue to leverage Cali Bamboo’s unique platform, brand experience, and specialized team to drive accelerated growth. The promotion recognizes its board of directors’ complete confidence in the company’s future outlook and strategic direction, the press release said.
Jackson joined the company in 2017 as chief revenue officer. He was promoted to president in November.
Under Jackson’s direction, the company has recalibrated and expanded its dealer program, accelerated new product introductions, and increased its presence at key industry trade shows.
Cali Bamboo was founded in 2004 and has been recognized as a Fastest Growing Company by Inc. 5000 nine years in a row.
