San Diego-based Greenhaus advertising agency has been tapped by Visit Santa Barbara, the organization that focuses on tourism promotion, increasing business and tax revenues and creating and sustaining jobs in the Central California coast county. In its new role, Greenhaus will oversee all marketing initiatives to help boost Santa Barbara’s presence as a top travel destination. The budget for the one-year project ranges between $1 million and $1.5 million, a Greenhaus representative said.
"We were aware of Greenhaus' increased presence in the tourism marketing industry over the last few years and were very impressed by the agency's creativity, innovative approach to how they would market the region as well as their sincere appreciation and deep knowledge of Santa Barbara," said Kathy Janega-Dykes, president and CEO of Visit Santa Barbara.
Founded in 1996, Greenhaus’ Visit Santa Barbara account is the latest of a slew of contracts that include Visit Anaheim, Visit Oceanside, Visit Newport Beach, Mountainside at Northstar (Lake Tahoe), the Orange County Visitors Association and Kukui’ula (Kauai). Outside of travel, Greenhaus has also worked with San Diego State University, San Diego Convention Center, Grand Del Mar and Hard Rock San Diego.
