Wendy Urushima-Conn became President and CEO for the Asian Business Association in 2011, supporting nearly 500 members through entrepreneurial education and business networking programs. Previously, she was the chief fundraising and marketing officer for the Center for Community Solutions, a nonprofit that focuses on domestic violence prevention. She has served on numerous boards of nonprofits and community advocacy groups, including The San Diego Foundation and LEAD San Diego. In 2017, Wendy was bestowed the honorary title of “Cool Women” by the San Diego Girl Scouts. In October 2017 the ABA also launched The Asian Business Association San Diego’s Business Development Resource Center (BDRC) to help small and disadvantaged businesses and entrepreneurs build a foundation for business success.
