David Abeles


David Abeles has 20 years of executive experience in the sports industry, most of it with TaylorMade. He first joined the company in 1998 and returned in 2015 after a stint as CEO of the Competitor Group and working in sales and marketing at the Acushnet Co. An avid golfer, he is repositioning the company to regain its position in the golf gear market. In May 2017, TaylorMade Golf announced its sale to KPS Capital Partners and a long-term endorsement deal with Rory McIlroy.
