An Atlanta-based business-to-business packaging company has leased an industrial building from Exeter Property Group as the sole tenant in Escondido’s Exeter Industrial Park.

Veritiv is leasing the 212,088 square-foot structure being built by Badiee Development at 1925 and 2005 Harmony Grove Road.

Construction is ongoing of what will be the largest industrial distribution building in Escondido and Veritiv is expected to move into the building in summer 2018.

“We are excited to have Veritiv locate in Escondido," said Mayor Sam Abed. “We’re proud to work with Badiee Development and Exeter Property Group to bring innovative commercial and industrial business to our city.”

Exeter Property Group acquired the 10.9-acre site from Badiee Development in August 2017 for $11.5 million.

“Working with Exeter Property Group, we were able to design a record-breaking industrial building and attract an international company that provides high-quality jobs to help bolster the economic strength of North County San Diego,” said Ben Badiee, CEO of Badiee Development.
