Cybersecurity Firm iboss Names Five Senior Executives

San Diego-based iboss Cybersecurity announced five senior management hires to oversee sales and products, in the wake of taking in $35 million in series A funding. The business said it would like to grow globally.

Iboss named David Ruggiero as senior vice president of worldwide sales and Pete Elmgren as senior vice president of worldwide channels. Ruggiero has led sales for corporations such as Thermo Fisher Scientific. Elmgren was with Palo Alto Networks.

Sean McCaffery, formerly with ViaWest and Avaya, was named vice president of enterprise sales, west.

Greg Prindle, formerly with Avaya, was named vice president of enterprise sales, east.

Stephen Clemons, onetime chief technology architect for San Diego County and the state of California, was named vice president of products.

Iboss has 175 employees. Paul Martini is CEO. The company announced its $35 million funding round, led by Goldman Sachs Private Capital Investing, in early November.

The business is going to market with its new iboss Cloud platform.
