Klein Investments Family LP of Newport Beach has acquired a four-building office and industrial campus in Kearny Mesa for approximately $37.9 million, according to CoStar Group and public data.
The seller of the office and “flex” property, known as the Cobham Campus, was New York-based Gramercy Property Trust Inc. The 9.57-acre campus totals 132,695 square feet of space at 9404 Chesapeake Drive and 5775, 5785 and 5788 Roscoe Court.
Brokers at Cushman & Wakefield said the property is fully leased to aviation and defense technology provider Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions, which recently signed a new long-term lease that includes major capital improvements underway throughout the campus.
The seller was represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Jeffrey Cole, Jeff Chiate, Ed Hernandez, Bryce Aberg and Brant Aberg.
