A local pharmaceutical company founded by life science veteran Cam Gallagher has raised $15 million in equity financing, according to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Zeno Pharmaceuticals, which seems to be flying under the radar, was incorporated in 2015, according to the California Secretary of State’s office. The company does not yet have an active website, but the filer’s address is 6181 Cornerstone Court, No. 106, San Diego, according to the filing ― the same address as Kalyra Pharmaceuticals, where Gallagher currently serves as chief business officer.

Gallagher also currently serves as the sole managing director of Nerveda, a life science seed fund he founded in June 2007. He is a director at Retrosense Therapeutics, a privately held gene therapy company focused on optogenetics for late stage patients with retinitis pigmentosa. He has served as chairman of the board of directors of DioGenix Inc., a molecular diagnostic company in Gaithersburg, Md.

Gallagher was a director at Sorrento Therapeutics from 2012 to 2014, and before that worked for Verus Pharmaceuticals, CV Therapeutics and Dura Pharmaceuticals.
