Consulting firm ALTA Environmental named a new vice president on Thursday, promoting its former director of environmental health and safety.
The San Diego-based ALTA, which advises clients on air quality management, environmental health, sustainability and water management through the West, said Nicolas Serieys was moving up its ranks. Serieys is tasked with growing the firm’s environmental health and safety practice.
“Nic’s clients consistently provide feedback on his strong leadership capacity and his deep technical and strategic support,” ALTA President Lisa Kay said. “He has helped numerous clients through challenging regulatory situations and is recognized as a leader by regulators and clients alike.”
Serieys is a licensed engineer and certified permitter for the South Coast Air Quality Management District. He has worked with metal smelters, chemical manufacturers and power generation companies on air, water and hazardous waste issues, according to ALTA.
