Poway-based VetStem Biopharma, a veterinary regenerative medicine company, and VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Referral Center recently announced an educational and clinical partnership in support of local area veterinarians.

“Stem cell therapy is an established treatment for arthritic conditions in our pets and is also proving to be helpful in a growing number of other conditions,” said Dr. Holly Mullen, head of surgery at VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Referral Center. “My associate, Dr. Angela Sartor, and I are looking forward to working with our veterinary colleagues to enhance the opportunity for stem cell treatments in their patients. This will mean a more comfortable and better quality of life for so many more of our beloved pets.”
