San Diego-based PriceSmart Inc., which owns and operates U.S.-style membership shopping warehouse clubs in Latin America and the Caribbean, announced that for the month of July 2015 net warehouse club sales increased 14.5 percent to $227.4 million, from $198.6 million in July of 2014.

For the eleven months ended July 31, 2015, net warehouse club sales increased 11.2 percent to $2.5 billion from $2.2 billion for the eleven months ended July 31, 2014.

There were 37 warehouse clubs in operation at the end of July 2015, and 33 warehouse clubs in operation at the end of July 2014, PriceSmart said.
