Work to Begin on $24M Row-Home Development in Golden Hill

Developers plan to begin construction this month on a $24 million, 33-unit row-home project in San Diego’s Golden Hill neighborhood.

Officials of San Diego-based LIV Capital Group said the company is obtaining building permits for the first phase of 20 homes, set for completion by fall on a 1.45-acre site. The remaining 13 units are slated for completion in spring 2015.

The site is bounded by 28th, 29th, B and C streets, a few blocks from Balboa Park. Homes in the development will range from 1,587 to 2,293 square feet.

LIV Capital Group, led by CEO Richard Montano, was formed in 2009 and funds its projects through investment pools. The company is also at work on a similar project in Bankers Hill.
