PriceSmart Inc., the San Diego operator of warehouse club stores in Latin America and the Caribbean, reported third quarter revenue of $615 million, up from $571.7 million for the like quarter of 2013.
Net income for the quarter ended May 31 was $21.3 million, compared with $18.5 million for the like quarter of last year.
For the nine months, PriceSmart reported revenue of $1.89 billion, up 10.5 percent from the nine months of its 2013 fiscal year.
Net income for those nine months was $71 million, compared with $63.4 million for the like period of the prior fiscal year.
The company that was spun off from San Diego’s original Price Club operates 33 club stores in 12 countries and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
