San Diego’s GoFastCab Acquired By Total Transit

GoFastCab, a San Diego mobile app development company, said it was acquired by Total Transit for an undisclosed price.

Total Transit is the Phoenix-based parent company to Discount Cab, one the largest taxi cab companies in that region,

Total Transit said the co-founders of GoFastCab, Josh Komenda and Jeremy Schrage, are the new principals and managers of 2PointB, a mobile app suite and platform now in development that is being launched with the help of Total Transit. The concept will enable cab operators to connect with passengers.

Michael Pinckard, president of Total Transit, said the business has been working with GoFastCab’s founders for years, and is impressed with their expertise and strategy. “This next chapter for Total Transit couldn’t come at a better time in our industry,” Pinckard said.

GoFastCab was a successful graduate of the EvoNexus incubator program, which is operated by CommNexus, the trade group for the area’s high-technology industry.
