PriceSmart Inc., a San Diego-based chain operator of warehouse club stores in the Caribbean and Central America, reported that net sales rose 12.6 percent to $589.7 million for the three month period ended Nov. 30, 2013, from $523.6 million in the like period of the previous year.

In November alone, net sales increased 13.8 percent to $209 million from $183.7 million in November 2012.

PriceSmart (Nasdaq: PSMT) said there were 32 warehouse clubs in operation in November 2013, up from 30 last year.
