Nat and Flora Bosa have contributed $5 million to Monarch School — the public K-12 school for children impacted by homelessness — toward the building of the school’s new campus. The school, located near Petco Park will be dedicated in the couple’s honor as the Monarch School Nat & Flora Bosa Campus. “An investment in the children of our community is the best investment I could make,” said Nat Bosa, CEO of Bosa Development. The new school will accommodate more than double its current student population. “The Bosa family’s contribution is an extraordinary gift to the future of Monarch School’s students,” said Erin Spiewak, CEO of Monarch School … The Ronald McDonald House received 1,800 “eSmiles” which brought in a $10,000 donation from HP Printing. This is the first year Daniel’s is participating with the San Diego Padres to benefit Voices for Children … The 28th Anniversary Grossmont Hospital Invitational Golf Tournament was held at Sycuan Golf & Tennis Resort. Grossmont Hospital Foundation raised $350,000 for Sharp Grossmont Hospital at the event. Proceeds will support priority initiatives related to patient services and programs at the hospital, including a new, state-of-the-art heart and vascular center.
