The Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego raised $660,000 at its ROMP Gala at the Rancho Valencia Resort. The event was held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt and was attended by professional athletes, celebrities, civic leaders and San Diegans whose lives have been changed by having family members or friends afflicted with HD, a terminal genetic brain disorder. The funds generated from the gala will go toward ongoing research and education toward finding a cure and providing support services for those living with the disorder … A ribbon-cutting and reception was held at Senior Community Centers in honor of Bud and Esther Fischer, longtime supporters of Senior Community Centers.
